Prediction by Andy Gray, a Betfair expert:Jose Mourinho has the Midas touch and this season I'm backing his Real Madrid team to close the gap on Barcelona. I love the way Barca play under Pep Guardiola but Madrid will possess more steel under Mourinho. They will be more organised and that will make the difference.
David Villa is an excellent signing for Barcelona. He's a great footballer - better than Zlatan Ibrahimovic - and he knows the Spanish league. After a great World Cup, Villa will take the Nou Camp by storm. Mourinho versus Guardiola - it's going to be a fantastic season.
The likes of Valencia and Villareal won't trouble Barca and Real Madrid and my one reservation about La Liga is that only those two sides have a realistic chance of winning the title.
The English Premier League is better because it's more competitive. If you want to make money betting on Spanish football, stick to the top two. I'm backing Real Madrid.
