Info

Inter
  • The hosts have been drawing far too many games recently but considering the circumstances some of those points were well earned. On Saturday, even though they had to play with two players less for most of the game against Sampdoria the difference on the pitch was never evident.
  • The Nerazzurri haven't lost at home yet this season - in fact, the last time Mourinho lost any domestic home game was way back in 2002!
  • Inter is the team that has scored most goals in Seria A so far - 49 in 25 games.
  • Jose Mourinho should have almost full squad to choose from as keeper Julio Cesar is expected to be fit despite being involved in a car accident. Only Cristian Chivu is out while Marco Materazzi and Davide Santon are doubtful.

Chelsea
  • Chelsea have been doing great in the Premier League and are four points clear of Manchester United at the top of the table.
  • The Blues have managed just two wins on their domestic travels in the past two months - against Burnley and Wolves.
  • The defence is looking far too vulnerable right now - a fairly weak Wolves offence could of scored at least a couple on Saturday were it not for Petr Cech.
  • Yuri Zhirkov is out, giving boss Carlo Ancelotti a problem at left-back as Paulo Ferreira is not registered for the competition and Ashley Cole is injured. Jose Bosingwa, Michael Essien and Deco also remain on the sidelines.

Probable line-ups

Inter (4-3-1-2): Julio Cesar - Maicon, Lucio, Samuel, Zanetti - Cambiasso, Muntari, Thiago Motta - Sneijder - Eto'o, Milito

Chelsea (4-3-3): Cech - Belletti, Terry, Carvalho, Ivanovic - Mikel, Ballack, Cole - Lampard, Drogba, Anelka

Hosts Inter are running a low form of late. They may be keeping clean sheets but if you don't score goals you can't win. They "somehow" managed to claim a 0-0 draw at home to Barcelona in the group stages but a 0-0 won't be enough this time.Inter needs to push forwards and score one tonight-they know away match will be a nightmare(like always when playing against English teams) and the visitors have more variety and ability so irrespective of Mourinho's wishes I think an away win is likely.Their defence does look weak so I think Drogba will enjoy the match tonight!
