Info

Brazil's friendly record is pretty formidable recently - they have won 14 of their 19 non-competitive games since the 2006 World Cup. Selecao coach Dunga elected to call-up a strong squad consisting largely of European-based players.

Brazil are almost at full strength, although manager Dunga has left out AC Milan pair Ronaldinho and Alexandre Pato. Manchester City forward Robinho is also with the squad, although he will not feature with an ankle injury. Doni, Juan, Luisao and Ramires are all also injured, while Julio Baptista is unlikely to play.

England breezing through their World Cup qualification (dropping only three points - against Ukraine) and have won six of their ten friendly games. But when they have taken a step up in quality to face the top sides they have struggled a bit - their two friendly defeats came against France and Spain while they were held by Holland and the Czech Republic.

For the match against Brazil in Qatar the Three Lions are without Frank Lampard, Rio Ferdinand, Steven Gerrard, Ashley Cole, David James, Theo Walcott, Glen Johnson and Emile Heskey. The captain John Terry could miss the friendly too. Rooney, Terry and Gareth Barry are the only first-team regulars remaining in Capello's team for the game. Squad members David Beckham, Aaron Lennon and Carlton Cole are also missing.

There have been 22 clashes; England have triumphed just thrice, while Brazil have won ten.
